Over the past week rain fell on four days measuring 14.2 mm in the gauges. This brings the month’s total rainfall to date to 99.2 mm, representing an increase over the all-time July average of 13 mm. The maximum temperature was 20.6ºC and the minimum 8.8ºC. The mean temperature was 15ºC, an increase of five degrees over average. Three overcast days reduced the week’s Bright Sunshine to 39 hours.
OUTLOOK. By Thursday a surface trough off the east coast is likely to deepen and bring strong south-easterly winds with moderate falls of rain to the Ranges from an upper level system. By the weekend a cold front moving through the southern states will bring cold south-east winds into our region.
