New Intergovernmental Agency for Renewable Energy
United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the interim secretariat of the new International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). The centre for IRENA’s technology and innovation will be established in Bonn, Germany, whereas the liaison office for co-operation with other organisations active in the field of renewable energy will be based in Vienna, Austria. Some 136 Member States have signed the Treaty.
